The Prince's Trust
The Spice Girls became an enormously popular English girl group, who were at the peak of their fame during the ‘90s. As of 2018, they've been active again. In fact, they had several pauses and reunions throughout the past twenty-five years, as they formed in 1994. The group is composed of (from left to right) Melanie C, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B, and Victoria Beckham. In the middle, of course, is Prince Charles. The photo was taken in 1997 at the 21st-anniversary celebration of Charles’ charity called The Prince’s Trust. The two kiss marks were left by Mel B and Geri Halliwell.
DJ Prince Charles
The year 2012 marked the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II. In other words, it was the sixtieth anniversary of Elizabeth II as Queen. The only other British monarch to have celebrated the same jubilee was Queen Victoria, in 1897. The jubilee is celebrated all throughout the UK and other Commonwealth Nations. When she was younger, during her silver jubilee, for instance, the Queen would do most of the touring herself. Now, other members of the Royal family went instead. This photo was taken when Prince Charles visited Toronto, Canada, and he worked with DJ L’oquenz and other instructors at the Uforchange workshop.
This Is Not My Best Angle
Growing up as a celebrity can be challenging and even more so as a royal. Prince Harry is no stranger to this. The picture above was taken during an alleged altercation with a paparazzi. He was simply trying to leave a club in London, only to find himself surrounded by cameras. The official statement released about the event was that the prince was pushed on his way out, and in turn, he pushed the photographer. The unofficial one, though, made by the photographer, said that the prince started it. Either way, at least we now have this picture to remember his bad-boy days by.
Duchess Kate's Monroe Moment
We love a good sundress as much as the next person, but Duchess Kate probably did not make the right choice wearing one at an airport. During a royal trip to Canada in 2011, she experienced first-hand Marilyn Monroe’s infamous dress moment. A slight gust of wind blew her yellow Jenny Packham sundress revealing more skin than usual. She has been more cautious about her clothing since and has successfully avoided such incidents. Clearly, one wardrobe malfunction was enough for her to know better than to wear a sundress at a busy airport!
Just Prince William Sneezing Away
Anyone who’s lived through 2020 knows that this is not the right way to sneeze, especially in public. Thankfully, this picture was taken way before coronavirus ever existed, back in 2008. Prince William might have turned away from the public to sneeze, but he unknowingly faced the paparazzi at just the right angle. As a result, his royal sneeze will now forever be remembered. The unfortunate thing about this picture is that, instead of sneezing into his arm or elbow, he sneezes into his palm. It’s just a royal cold outbreak waiting to happen! At least he didn’t stain his expensive suit.
St. Andrews Night Fever
Saint Andrew Day is the national day of Scotland. It is held yearly in honor of Saint Andrew who, according to the New Testament, introduced Apostle Peter, Andrew’s brother, to Jesus Christ, The Messiah. Saint Andrew is considered by Scotland, Russia, Romania, and Barbados, as well as a number of cities around the world as their patron saint. This photo of William and Kate dancing was taken at the University of St. Andrews Gala Dinner event, held on October 16, 2004. Kate and William started dating in 2003, so this was about a year into their relationship.
Her Highness's Own Itch
Being a monarch is in no way an easy job, and Queen Elizabeth II knows that all too well. Not only does she have to care for her entire family’s image, but also her and her kingdom’s. There are many expectations from all her public appearances. During the 2014 Royal Windsor Horse Show, Her Majesty was experiencing an irritating itch in her nose. Sadly, being the queen, all eyes and lenses are focused on her. As a result, we now have this picture of the queen picking her nose in public, which is surprisingly pleasant to see.
It's All Too Blurry
Since 2014, The Invictus Games have been taking place almost every year. Prince Harry started this event for wounded or ill veterans to compete in sports. This lovely royal family picture was taken in the first Games ever. Sadly, Prince Charles probably forgot to wear his contacts, as he seems to have difficulty looking at his son’s phone. The content that Prince William is showing him appears to be hilarious. Unfortunately, it took Prince Charles a moment before he started laughing, just long enough to capture this snap. All in all, the event was a success. The next Invictus Games are postponed until 2021.
Royals VS Animals
Who wouldn’t want to snuggle with a baby koala? After all, not all people get to experience that in their lives, given that they’re native to Australia. When Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla went down under, they got to meet a couple of koala rescues first-hand. The bigger koala, the one that the prince is holding, was Kao, four years old at the time. The duchess held the youngest and smallest one, Matilda, who was merely four months old. However, she didn’t seem to enjoy that event as much as Prince Charles, who might as well be grinning at his wife’s reaction at that point.
Royals VS Animals Pt.2
Continuing down the path of the royals’ funny encounters with animals comes this picture. It makes us wonder why they had to get acquainted with the eagle in the first place. It turns out that this eagle is the Army Air Corps’ mascot. They stumbled upon it while attending the Sandringham Flower Show in 2015. While preparing to get their picture taken, the eagle wasn’t very eager to greet the royals and tried flying away. We’re talking about a bird with wings up to eight feet long! The royals dodged its ferocious attack by making a funny face. Now we have this memorable photo to remember them by.
Not This Time!
This picture was taken during the wedding of Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank in 2018. It seems as though the wind loves Duchess Kate, as once again, it blew right on her bright pink Alexander McQueen dress. She was better prepared this time, however, and didn’t allow this moment to become embarrassing. Her outfit was once again a success despite the slight mishap. She combined it with a pink hat by Philip Treacy, and we could hardly take our eyes off of her! Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, and as a result, we now have this moment to add to her wardrobe malfunctions over the years.
Sunbathing Down Under
During one of Princess Diana’s infamous visits to Australia, she met some fascinating people. It was back in 1988 when the 200th anniversary of Australia’s Bicentenary was taking place; the arrival of the first fleet of British convict ships in Sydney. Wearing her lemon yellow and white cotton Paul Costelloe dress, she visited Terrigal Beach. There, she got to meet some of the beach’s lifeguards. It appears that she was possibly enjoying herself more than she should when this picture was taken. Well, as a royal, looking happy and approachable is part of her job. However, maybe she overdid it there.
Something's Off Here
It was pretty much a typical day. Princess Beatrice attended the V&A Summer Party of 2017 and had her picture taken, much like any other royal and celebrity on the guest list. However, she sadly hadn’t realized something was wrong with her dress until it was too late. She wore this semi-sheer dress from Self Portrait at the event, which proved somewhat uncomfortable, albeit beautiful. In case anyone hasn’t seen what we’re talking about yet, the interior layer of the dress was dragged up a bit, exposing her thigh. At least Princess Beatrice looked stunning!
The Button Failed At Its Job
It’s no secret that Meghan Markle always looks flawless, but maybe this time she went overboard. If she were any other person, we probably wouldn’t be talking about this wardrobe malfunction. Since she is the Duchess of Sussex, though, this unbuttoned shirt is quite scandalous. Meghan wore this fantastic Club Monaco dress on her birthday while attending the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks at Frensham’s Church of St. Mary the Virgin in 2018. As if she didn’t already have all eyes focused on her, the attire’s top did its thing and caused a racket.
Blowing In The Wind
It was a special day, with little Princess Charlotte’s christening scheduled at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in 2018. Upon Camila’s arrival, though, it almost all turned sideways as the wind blew right on her pale blue dress. Thankfully, with the help of her bag, she stopped it from getting embarrassing. As we’ve already seen, such situations can escalate within a matter of seconds! The Duchess of Cornwall was thankfully well prepared, but we still got a good look at her feet. Either way, she laughed the moment off, and the ceremony was a success. She was, of course, accompanied by her husband, Prince Charles.
We Can All See Through That
It was during one of hers and Prince Harry’s international tours in 2018 when Meghan Markle chose to wear this beautiful Givenchy Bespoke navy-blue skirt. She must have tried it on with bad lightning, though, as little did she realize that her undergarments were showing under its see-through material. Like always, Meghan didn’t fail to impress her audience with her stunning looks, and that number had a lot to do with it. She wore it to go on a walkabout in Rotorua, New Zealand. That same day, she was also kind enough to hug a young fan of hers in the crowd.
Booping The Duchess's Nose
While speaking about royals and their noses, we can’t help but look back to when little Grace Gibbon almost put her hand on Duchess Camilla’s nostril. The picture, to be honest, is quite adorable. However, if it were any other person other than the then 14-month-old Grace, we’d be talking about it in an entirely different way. The duchess had visited a library in Westfield in celebration of the 2010 World Book Day. There, she read a book to some of the Avondale Park School’s students. It’s a non-written rule that one shouldn’t touch a royal in any case, but an exception can clearly be made under such circumstances.
What An Excellent Piece of Art
For anyone who doesn’t know it already, Prince Charles is an enormous art enthusiast. It’s safe to say that this picture depicts how much he appreciates a good art exhibit. It was taken during his and the Duchess of Cornwall’s visit to the Hector Quay Heritage Centre in Canada. The statue in the picture is a wooden ship’s figurehead, and it appears that the prince was quite fascinated by it. Although the prince himself prefers to paint instead of sculpting, that doesn’t mean that he can’t admire a good statue or carving when he sees it!
Alternative Reality
In 2015, Prince William went overseas during his visit to Fukushima, the Japanese region that had recently been hit by a tsunami. He decided he’d do some sightseeing during his trip there and found himself at an NHK Public Broadcasting Studio in Tokyo, where the Taiga series was being filmed. This picture might seem as though it’s out of an alternate reality, where the prince somehow became a Samurai, but the truth is that he’s merely trying out a costume! It’s a traditional shogun samurai helmet and kimono, and we have to admit that the prince looks pretty good in it!
The Prince's Bucket List
We can guess how long ago this picture was taken just by looking at Prince Harry’s blushed and hairless cheeks. It turns out that he’s only 18 years old here. The photo was taken during his visit to the Osmani School in Whitechapel, during which he learned about life in Third World countries. So, how did he end up placing a bucket on his head? We can’t know what went down exactly, but we know it makes for some unique material that only Prince Harry could have provided us with! On top of everything, he seems to be having the time of his life.
An Accidental Mohawk
Prince Charles has continuously shown us how funny he can be. This time, however, it was unintentional, as he was simply having a bad hair day. The picture was taken while he was arriving at a summer garden party in Hillsborough Castle. Like always, Prince Charles made quite the entrance. The event had around 200 guests, all of whom witnessed his accidental mohawk first-hand. To be fair, it was probably the wind hitting him at just the right angle, but at least we now have this hilarious picture to show you today.
The Duchess Is Hungry
We can’t really tell whether or not the duchess is enjoying her treat by looking at this picture, which is part of the reason why it’s so funny. It was taken during her and Prince Charles’s visit to the States in 2005. They were in Berkeley, California, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School. Although Prince Charles seems like he’s having a great time, Duchess Camilla has probably seen better days and had better snacks. Well, she might merely be trying to keep her lipstick on, giving us that expression on her face.
Prince Rasta
Once again, proving he’s the funniest royal of them all, Prince Charles seems to be having the time of his life trying out a Rasta hat during his visit to Jamaica. This photograph was taken back in 2000, at the Trenchtown Community Center in Kingston. As if the image of him with this headpiece on wasn’t already hilarious enough, he decided to wear it back to front too! No matter the situation he’s in, Prince Charles always comes up with ways to entertain his audience, and if we’re being honest, we can’t seem to get enough of this side of him!
Ouchie!
After finishing high school, Prince Harry embarked on a year-long adventure before joining the army. He found himself down under, where he apparently had the time of his life. One of the things that he did while there was meet Spike, the Echidna, at Sydney Harbour in 2003. We can only suppose that the prince somehow hurt himself while holding this spiny anteater since he’s making a funny face. It’s just one of the many funny pictures of Prince Harry out there, proving how much he takes after his dad’s wild side.
Smile For The Camera
During the 2008 Olympia Horse Show, the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, visited the backstage, meeting the horses up close. This picture was taken in perfect timing, with the duchess and the horse smiling from ear to ear. Although there were many other pictures of her from that day, this one stands out. It’s not a rare occasion to see her smiling or meeting animals, but this moment here is precious. Although most of the duchess’s animal friends on this list haven’t treated her well, this beautiful horse seems to be overly excited to meet a royal for the first time.
Careful What You Say Next
Unlike in most of their other photos together, Prince Charles is the one who looks unsatisfied by whatever is going on here instead of Duchess Camilla. This picture was taken in Australia in 2015 when the royal couple was handed some hand-forged kitchen knives made by a local knife maker. With all fairness, the duchess is only jokingly pointing this lethal eight-inch long knife at her husband, but the prince doesn’t seem to like the idea! Thankfully, no one was hurt that way, and now we have this hilarious couple picture to admire their bond with.
Dressed For The Occasion... Almost
First of all, we’d like to comment on how beautiful the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, looks in this picture. However, we can’t help but notice that she’s probably not dressed appropriately for the occasion, as we’ve hardly ever seen anyone playing cricket while wearing a skirt. In no way do we want to say that she looks as though she knows what she’s doing. In fact, it’s the exact obvious. Judging from the look she has on her face, the duchess is probably outside her comfort zone. All this didn’t stop her from looking flawless, though.
Dropped Something?
What exactly is Prince William doing here, barefoot on a field on all fours? It turns out that he’s not trying to find something but only warming up. This pose is similar to the downward-facing dog of yoga, don’t you think? The picture was snapped right before the Audi Polo Challenge at the Coworth Park Polo Club in 2016. It’s one of the rare occasions when we get to see the prince’s fun side, and with all honesty, we’re loving it. Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, joined the Audi Ultra Team that day.
Try To Beat That!
Prince Charles just won’t back out of anything, and here he is playing around on a climbing wall. This picture was taken in 2012, meaning that the prince was in his 60s. Compared to the young cadets behind him, he’s arguably not doing bad at all! The prince swung by the Grainville Secondary School at St. Helier to get acquainted with the school’s Army Cadet Force and had the time of his life. He might be wearing a suit and slippery shoes, but that didn’t stop him from having a go at that wall.
Hugging Or Curtsying?
Though it might not seem awkward at first glance, this moment was probably more uncomfortable than intended. It was taken during the opening ceremony of the One World Summit at the Royal Albert Hall when Duchess Meghan Markle met with Kate Robertson, one of the founders. As Robertson was attempting a curtsy, the duchess dove in for a hug. They laughed it off and hugged like normal people eventually, but until they did, the moment made everyone watching it cringe. At least they both looked stunning, especially Meghan, with her purple Aritzia outfit.
This Isn't What It Looks Like
Let’s give Kate Middleton a break since this picture was taken way before becoming part of the British Royal Family. It was back in 2007 when she was in her mid-20s. Apparently, this unfortunate photo depicts the duchess-to-be leaving the Mahiki club in Mayfair, London. She was simply trying to enter a taxi when her picture was taken. At that time, Kate had already met Prince William, but they only tied the knot in 2011. She has since been more careful during her night-outs. Max Butterworth, the photographer who took the snap, only released this picture years later.
A Disastrous For Prince Andrew
This picture isn’t as funny as others, but it’s definitely worth mentioning. It was taken back in the ‘90s, and it depicts Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, having his arm around Virginia Roberts’ waist. Roberts, who now goes by Giuffre, is one of the women involved in the Epstein case. Of course, having such pictures lying around isn’t good publicity for anyone, let alone a prince. The now 60-year-old duke officially resigned from his royal responsibilities in 2019, and it’s safe to say that this very picture had something to do with it.
What A Way To End A Nightout
This photo is of Prince Harry, once again in his 20s, only this time things were reportedly a little bit more serious! There are two sides of the story: the official comments made by the prince’s representatives and the one that the many pictures taken indicates. The prince was going out of a club when he realized the paparazzi were following him. They started chasing each other around, up until the moment that the prince slipped and that one guy tried to catch him. According to the official comment, they just laughed off the incident.
The Prince And The Spice Girls
Part of the responsibilities that come with being a royal is meeting some of the most famous people. Back in 1997, during a Royal Gala for The Prince's Trust Charity, Prince Charles met the Spice Girls up close, making the event quite scandalous. In fact, Geri Halliwell and Mel B even kissed the prince on the cheek! Of course, doing so is a no-no, as non-royals are not supposed to touch, let alone peck a royal in such situations. It was just one of those times when the prince proved just how forward-looking and modern he is.
You Call That A Scone?
The queen’s shocked face as she’s offered what seems to be scones while having tea with Eton schoolboys at Guards Polo Club is just priceless. The photo was taken by Mark Stewart in 2003. It’s unclear if she’s reacting to the food or to something that’s going on in the background, though. In any case, she looks fantastic in her pale pink outfit and hat, leaving her hilarious expression aside. If we ever find ourselves serving scones to the royals, we’ll simply make sure to follow the recipe they’ve posted on Instagram!
A Prince's Intimate Moment
It seems as though Prince Harry gave us enough material in his 20s than any other royal has. This picture, as scandalous as it is, was released in 2006. However, the time in which it was taken is subject to controversy. Some say it was captured that year, while most insist it was from 2003. We see Prince Harry in an intimate moment with a woman who was later identified as Natalie Pinkham. His brother Prince William, on the other hand, is right behind him enjoying a royal cocktail. They were both single then and were obviously having a lot of fun.
Back To The Old Days
A big reason why Duchess Meghan Markle is so loved by everyone is that she was an actress long before she started life as a royal. In fact, any TV series fanatic knows that she was played Rachel Zane in Suits for quite some time. Part of the responsibilities that came with that role was having to make out with her co-worker Patrick J. Abrams, who portrayed Mike Ross. The episodes are still out there for anyone to watch; however, we doubt we’ll be seeing Meghan in such situations ever again!
The Iconic Tiara In The Tub
This picture is so iconic that it might very well have been taken for a magazine cover. It’s a picture of Princess Margaret on a bathtub, wearing a tiara, hinting to us that it was taken intentionally. According to the story, it was taken on her 29th birthday by her then husband-to-be, Anthony Armstrong-Jones. It’s such a unique picture that it was recreated in a scene of The Crown series, where Helena Bonham Carter portrayed her. Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth II’s younger sister, sadly passed away in 2002 at 71, after suffering a stroke.
An Alleged Royal Affair
Although nothing is off about this picture at first glance, it was quite scandalous when it was published. It’s a picture of Princess Margaret and Roddy Llewellyn swimming at the Caribbean Sea, on the island of Mustique, where the princess owned a house. She was still married to Anthony Armstrong-Jones back then, given that it was taken in 1976. Merely a couple of years later, their divorce was finalized. However, the princess’s relationship with Roddy never became official, and in 1981, he got married to another woman named Tatiana Soskin.
Duchess Kate VS The Wind
Kate Middleton is now a style icon, and women look up to her for how she manages to look elegant and classy, nearly 24/7. Then there are the times when the duchess reminds us that she’s just like us, and the wind doesn’t care if she’s a royal who lives under the spotlight. This badly-timed picture of Kate was taken when she visited Darwen, England’s Whitton Park in 2011, with Prince William. The couple made one of their final appearances before the Royal Wedding, which had taken place less than three weeks after this visit.
Prince Harry Doesn't Like The Rain
We should know better by now than to expect Prince Harry to act as royal-like as other members of his family. After all, he’s proven time and time again that he’ll do as he pleases. This time, Harry might very well have been upset because of the rain and didn’t shy away from showing it! Nonetheless, any fan of the prince knows how great he is with children, and this right here is an example of it. According to the Daily Mail, he was trying to make an impression of his father outside the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard in 2011.
No, That's My Carrot
During Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to Australia in 2014, they got to meet this lovely giraffe. The picture was taken inside the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, and we can’t really tell who’s prettier, the giraffe or the prince? One thing for sure, though, is that they’re both adorable. Prince William might be next in line to the throne, but that has never stopped him from acting like a normal person in public. Yet, not everyone gets to meet a giraffe up-close, let alone feed one, which is one of the perks that come with being a royal!
Who Won?
When Prince Harry went on the Diamond Jubilee Tour in 2012, he got acquainted with Usain Bolt. Prince Harry might not be as quick as him; after all, he’s said to be one of the fastest men alive, but that didn’t stop him from beating the Olympian! Alright, with all fairness, Usain might have let the prince beat him. In any case, they made sure to fool around before the race, hence this picture. Clearly, the prince was right in his element. Usain has rightfully earned the Lightning Bolt nickname along with his eight Olympic gold medals.
This Is Just Adorable!
The Invictus Games are Prince Harry’s baby. And in 2017, while he was attending a volleyball game, he got to befriend an actual toddler! He was sat next to Hayley and David Henson, and their daughter, Emily. Soon enough, they got to talking, so now we have this adorable picture of the prince! Little Emily wanted to get a handful of the prince’s popcorn, and to be fair, who could say no to such an adorable child? The prince couldn’t resist making a funny face or two, proving just how caring and down to earth he is.
Only Resting My Eyes
This picture makes us wonder what Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles might be doing that is so unamusing. It turns out that it was taken during a royal party in Malta’s San Anton Palace, where they were somewhat stood up by some of their visitors. Although that’s not a way to treat Her Majesty, it was certainly not enough time for the prince to catch a nap, as according to India.com, their guests were less than ten minutes late! Prince Charles might be resting his eyes, but the queen doesn’t seem to approve of it!
Not This Again!
Before she married Prince William, Kate Middleton was an average person. This picture was taken around the time when speculation started about her dating the prince. Little did she know that day, as she was getting ready for her night-out, that she’d get stalked by paparazzi. Being drunk doesn’t look good on anyone, but Kate’s pulling it off in a way. Although she’s visibly frustrated, she at least had the decency to call for a taxi to take her home. All that while also looking fabulous, so we have to give her that!
Wasted Again In Margaritaville
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, was born on September 15, 1984. After graduation, Harry attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and as the second lieutenant afterward, he served in Afghanistan. In 2015, after the Army, Harry dedicated all his time to charities and causes. In 2014, he created the Invictus Games for injured Army veterans and gave patronage to the likes of HALO Trust, Walking With The Wounded, and other initiatives. Harry is also known to love and support sports. This photo was taken in Paris, in 2007, after England’s National Rugby team lost the finals. The Prince and team members watched the Grand Prix and had a reported 24-hour drinking fest.
Rebellious From Day 1
In case anyone ever thought that the prince developed his charm growing up, this picture comes to show us that he was born with it! Also, let’s not skip mentioning how beautiful his mother, Diana, looks in this picture. We’ve already gone through the many funny faces that the prince can make, but this one takes the prize. Dressed in the same colors as his mother, both the prince and Diana are rocking their outfits. Diana looks a bit surprised at whatever her son was doing, though, and was probably trying to calm him down.
The Sneaky Selfie
The Queen doesn’t look too thrilled with the smartphone-wielding young man who decided to sneak a selfie with her at all costs. We hope that he got the shot before the man approaching behind him, who must be a Royal security member, cut his selfie moment short. The young man is a hero by all accounts because he was brave enough to block the Queen’s path for a selfie while the rest of us wouldn’t dare to risk the possibility of an arrest. The young man managed to steal the photo opportunity when Queen Elizabeth II visited the Belfast-based St. George’s market in 2014.
Soaking Royals
Diana, Princess of Wales, was a famous British Royal family member. She was married to Charles, Prince of Wales, and gave birth to two boys, Princes William and Harry. Also known as Lady D, Diana performed her royal duties admirably and was an avid supporter of humanitarian causes, like the International Campaign to Ban Landmines. She was also very engaged in battling AIDS and other illnesses. This photo was taken on April 13, 1993, when Lady D and her two sons were having fun in Thorpe Park Resort, located between Chertsey and Surrey, in England.
It Takes Two To Tango
Charles, Prince of Wales, was born on November 14, 1948, at Buckingham Palace in London, England. His famous mother is Queen Elizabeth II and as her eldest child, Charles is the first in line for the British throne. He was married to the late Lady Diana Spencer from 1981 to 1996 and from 2005 has been married to Camilla Parker Bowles. This photo was reportedly taken in March 1999, in Buenos Aires during Charles’ visit to Argentina. The lady dancing with him is Adriane Vasile. Reportedly, this was Charles’ first tango.
The Prince Got Swag
Prince William and his wife, Kate, often visit various humanitarian events to support many noble causes and inspire people to donate to charity. They also often have a good time and try and inspire people to be happy and giving. This photo was taken during a Centrepoint event in London. Centrepoint is an organization that focuses on giving young homeless people housing and a chance at a future. They operate mainly in London, Yorkshire, the North East, and Manchester but have various partners all around the UK. At the event, Kate and William helped make pies, baked cookies, and even danced a little bit.
Choking On Love
Prince William’s relationship with his wife Kate is rock-solid. It doesn’t mean that they don’t have their disagreements like normals couples do, but we doubt that it’s something that would make them seek out couples therapy. At the 2014 Commonwealth Games, the heat got a little too much for Prince William that he amusingly tried to use Kate's VIP pass to fan himself. The picture caught Kate pretending her beloved was choking her. The look on Kate’s face is priceless and it’s refreshing to see them out in public behaving like a regular couple.
Fainting In A Dignified Way
Being a guard of honor means following a strict code of conduct, which essentially outlines how to behave at all times. Even when one faints, mostly due to the long hours of standing in formation in the sweltering heat, it has to be with dignity. Troops are advised not to ‘lock their knees’ while at attention because it helps them stand upright with ease. In the photo above, a guard of honor has collapsed just as the Queen rode around the troops for inspection. Clearly, he couldn’t endure the long hours of standing during the parade inspection and he might have needed a doctor, although those around him did not break ranks even for a moment.
Prince Harry & The Wacky Sesame Street Bunch
As a member of the Royal family, it’s a given to embrace photo opportunities when making appearances. The problem is, you never know who you are going to meet and who will want to share that photo opportunity. Well, Prince Harry had to pose for a photo with a bunch of guys in Sesame Street costumes. His face says it all, but we have this photo to look back at and laugh. This was snapped at the 2014 ICAP Charity Day event that brought together several celebrities, including Damian Lewis, Gemma Arterton, and Prince Harry. The traders at the London-based financial trading firm spotted a spectacular assortment of costumes for the day, including the lot above.
Priceless Royal Sneers
If you thought that it’s only the Queen who tends to boldly display her displeasure then you haven’t met the younger Royals. They, too know that precious Royal sneer albeit a playful one. The little Royal in this picture, Princess Charlotte, clearly couldn’t wait to effortlessly taunt the public with her version while riding in an elegant limousine. What or who could she be mocking? Or perhaps she was just trying to retaliate towards a person from the crowd who sneered at her first. Well, our little Princess is adorable no matter what, and more so with this cute ensemble with flowers in her head.
Dancing Queen? No, Dancing Prince!
Prince William has been married to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, since 2011 and they have three kids. Catherine is more commonly known as Kate Middleton and she is also an active humanitarian, supporting causes that focus on helping young people and promoting art. She particularly focuses on battling illegal substances and promoting mental health; hence, Kate and William have founded the 'Heads Together' campaign. This is a 2012 photo showing their visit to Tuvalu - an independent South Pacific island nation. It was a part of their tour throughout Asia and the Pacific in honor of the Queen’s Jubilee. The people of Tuvalu awarded them with Tuvalu Order of Merit, which was their highest recognition.
The Downside Of Having A Balcony
Prince William and Kate Middleton were married in a ceremony held in Westminster Abbey. The service was conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, who married them, while the Bishop of London addressed the gathering. The wedding was held on April 29, 2011, but they became a couple in 2003. After the ceremony, the two held a reception at the famous Buckingham Palace and a private dinner in the evening. This photo was taken while they were at a balcony of the Palace, waving at fans, watching the Royal Air Force flyover. However, Kate bent down to save her outfit from being stepped over while other people were leaving and this was the unfortunate yet hilarious result.
The Wolf Of Windsor
The ICAP has been hosting an annual charity event that has seen them raise over $142 million towards good causes since 1993. In 2014, Prince Harry was one of the big names present, and he was quite the sport going with the flow. Besides the traders donning outlandish costumes for the day, it was somehow business as usual. Prince Harry even had the chance to put his trading skills to use by manning the calls at the broking firm. At some point, he ended up next to the trader dressed as Heidi and he was said to have jokingly begged him not to chat him up because it would have been weird.
#RoyalTwinning
If there’s a Royal family member who is not really known for his laid-back nature, it’s Prince Charles. That’s why it’s truly a photo-worthy moment to catch him having a laugh like he is in the photo above with the Duchess of Cornwall. It’s also hard to miss that he just happens to be clad in a kilt that’s matched up with the dress his wife Camilla has on. The two were attending the 2005 Mey Games in Caithness, Scotland, and when this particular photo was taken, they couldn’t contain their laughter watching the tug-of-war event.
Flashing A Less Than Perfect Smile
Even with braces, Prince Harry still had the perfect smile. You wouldn’t know that he once wore braces if not for the photo above at the Sandringham Estate on Christmas. Luckily, he only had them on for a spell back in 1999. The Royals traditionally spend their New Year and Christmases at the estate, and they are just like the rest of us regular folks exchanging gifts and spending some quality time together. In 2018, the Royals kept their tradition, starting their morning with a visit to a Sandringham church. The entire family also decorates a 20-foot Christmas tree and opens their gifts on Christmas Eve.
A Hearty Conversation
It seems like just about every member of the Royal family has had to take photos with some odd characters. Prince Charles once admitted that he did enjoy talking to plants and in 2014, he had the opportunity to chat with a carrot and a banana. He met up with the bunch during a Canadian tour that saw him and the Duchess of Cornwall visit the Halifax-based Military Families Resources Center. The Royal couple met the volunteers dressed up as an assortment of fruits, including grapes, to promote a healthy diet for children.
The Royal Itch
We read about them daily. So much so that we often tend to forget that they’re humans like everyone else. Royalties can get royally hungry, royally mad, and have a royal itch in their noses, just like the next person! This picture right here is a great example. On the one hand, the Duke of Edinburgh seems to be quite relaxed and at home. We can’t say the same about Queen Elizabeth II, though, as she looks a bit annoyed by whatever’s going on. It might just be the fact that her husband is picking his nose in public.
Brothers Forever, Even In The Face Of Danger
Prince William and Prince Harry have always had an enviable sibling relationship, and it definitely has something to do with how they were raised. Just take a look at the photo above showing the brothers bonding with a snake draped around their shoulders. You can’t fake such genuine friendship beyond being siblings, but it doesn’t mean that the two couldn't have benefitted from the services of family counseling over the years. The two developed a long-running feud by William questioning Harry and Meghan Markle’s hasty marriage barely two years after the couple had met. The palace sources revealed that the two eventually patched things up in early 2019.
Boys & Their Toys
It’s hilarious seeing Prince William wearing a suit but in a racing car simulator. He’s Royalty so we bet he doesn’t care too much about how he looks. He’s also a big kid at heart and he couldn’t resist the video game. Besides his gleeful love for video games, William and Harry are apparently motorbike enthusiasts. William is even the proud owner of a Ducati. If that isn’t enough, William regularly rolls around in a Royal fleet of cars, including a Jaguar XJ, Bentley Flying Spur, Audi R8, and an Aston Martin Db6 Volante.
Prince George Is Unimpressed
Just like the Queen who can often make her sentiments known through her facial expressions, Prince George seems to follow suit. The photo above was taken in 2014 when the Duke and Duchess, as well as the then-1-year-old Prince George of Cambridge, were about to hop into a private plane to leave Australia. Prince George had every right to be disinterested in the happenings around him because he probably just wanted to get back home and take a nap. Now at 5 years old alongside his 3-year-old sister, Princess Charlotte, and their latest addition, 1-year-old Prince Louis, we have tons of adorably cute photos to look forward to.
The Royal Visit To The Land Down Under
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went on their second Royal tour in late 2018 that saw them visit Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, and Tonga. In October, their visit to Australia took them to the South Melbourne Beach. They met up with a crowd of locals, including a group of Surf Lifeguards who help to keep the Aussie beach safe. They also met Beach Patrol volunteers who work tirelessly to keep the beaches in Melbourne litter-free. During their visit, they were seen at the Charcoal Lane restaurant and tasted local delicacies, including wild boar, finger limes, and riberries. The dining place provides training to indigenous youth in the hospitality and cooking industries.
Prince Harry The Prankster
While attending a military event, it appears here (based Prince Harry's ensemble) that he decided to blast an air horn. There isn’t anything wrong with that, except for the expression on his face that makes us believe that he did it at an improper time. Prince Harry was a part of the British Army and after completing his training in 2006, his unit was scheduled for deployment to Iraq. After a widespread debate in 2007, it was ultimately decided that he wouldn’t join the unit in Iraq. They didn’t need a military attorney to advise them that he was too much of a high-risk target and threats had already been made against him.
What's Cracking Up Kate?
Kate Middleton turned 37 in January 2019 and we would love to know about her skincare routine because she practically looks a decade younger. However, we can imagine that it can get quite stressful keeping up with the schedule of Royal events. It means always being polite and holding conversations with scores of new people every other day. The photo above either captures Kate’s sentiments as she is just about to crack under the pressure of it all or she’s simply about to crack up into laughter. Either way, she always provides tons of memorable photo opportunities when she’s up and about.
The First Degree-Holding Heir Apparent To The English Throne
In the photo above, Prince Charles wears a Trinity College gown and he’s with Bill Edwards, the institution’s head porter. The photo was taken at the steps of Cambridge University’s Neville Court. After graduating from Gordonstoun high school with two A-levels and five O-levels, he enrolled at Trinity in 1967 before his time with the British Armed Forces. He majored in Anthropology and history, and he ultimately graduated in 1970. Charles was the first heir apparent to graduate from university. Prior to this historical achievement within the Royal family, most heirs would just join the British Army.
Double The Money
Harry sure doesn’t mind goofing off whenever the opportunity presents itself, and the 2014 ICAP event was just the right place for it. At some point when he was manning the phones, he grabbed two to show off his multi-tasking skills. Perhaps he was trying to double his cash but it was all in good fun. Prince Harry was actually trying to sell actual stocks ranging from the Euro to fuel. Also in attendance was chef Jamie Oliver who at some point couldn’t contain his laughter at the antics of the young Prince.
Grandpa Wales
It’s quite rare to see such photos of the Prince of Wales, and Charles and Prince Louis look absolutely adorable. One thing we can agree on is that over the years, Charles has always come across as a dedicated family man as seen with his two sons and now this young fella. The two shared the special moment during Charles’ 70th birthday in November 2018 when the Royal family members came together to take family portraits. The particular picture above graced the cover of The Sunday Times, shot by professional photographer Chris Jackson.
Royal Archery
Being a Royal means embracing the prospect of being a regular business traveler. Prince Philip and Kate Middleton jetted off to India and Bhutan in 2016 as part of their official duties. Like any international trip, they had the chance to participate in some good old-fashioned fun, including archery. Once again, Prince William wearing a tie and suit looks wildly comical trying to shoot the arrow. The look on Kate’s face is priceless because she seems to read a few seconds into the future and knows that her husband’s archery attempt will end poorly.
Little Miss Snob
It’s a given that members of the Royal family have to kiss some toddlers when making public appearances. It doesn’t always mean that the unsuspecting tots have to embrace the kind gestures. The little one above gives Prince William the cold shoulder, and a photo was taken to forever remind him of this awkward moment. The girl had started by handing him a flower and it all went downhill from there. The Duke of Cambridge got snubbed when visiting the Glasgow-based Emirates Stadium in 2013 along with his wife Kate. If anything, William must have learned a lesson or two in knowing who to pick out from a crowd.
It Doesn't Hurt To Goof Off Sometimes
Here is a photo of Harry with an assembly of school children having a blast at their expense. The rains didn’t spare the children who were are all dripping wet, unlike the Prince who had an umbrella at his disposal. Here, we see a man who is probably worth more than their folks’ annual earnings combined trying to goof around with them. Nevertheless, the kids were amazed by his loving and humble nature despite his level of prominence. In March 2019, Prince Harry lent a hand in planting trees during his visit to a Primary School in West London.
The Photographed Royal Embrace
You hardly see a public display of affection from Royal family members, especially the Queen. Fortunately, the paparazzi were lucky enough to capture this valuable shot that became the discussion in just about every celebrity news site. From the above heartwarming view, we see the Queen embracing Kate Middleton with whom she gets along splendidly and they regularly embark on public activities together. In 2013, on their arrival at the Christmas Day service, Kate planted a sweet kiss on the Queen and she embraced her back. In an April 2019 statement, the Queen, now 93, and the Duchess of Cambridge sent their condolences to the Sri Lankan people following the devastating Easter Sunday attacks.
Royal Shenanigans
Polo is a dangerous sport and no one would dare play rough when a Royal happens to be in the opposing team. So whenever Harry participates in the sport, he usually ends up winning. In the above picture, Prince Harry, clad in polo clothes, is holding a trophy that he supposedly won, and as if winning wasn’t enough, he decided to rub it on his rival’ face by spitting water on him. He did later explain that it was all in jest. We hope that he'll play fairly during the upcoming 2020 Invictus Games, a sports program he founded in 2014.
Gardening In Khakis
The Duchess of Cambridge is the absolute epitome of royal elegance. We mostly see her in chic outfits accentuated by fancy earrings, a pair of gloves, clutches, and dazzling pumps. In the above photo, however, Kate Middleton is seen keeping it casual yet totally dashing as she visited a London community garden as her first formal activity in 2019. The visit aimed at bringing the community members together while meeting the gardeners who were running the space. Kate was candid and shook hands as she witnessed how the project united people through horticulture. She wore khaki jeans, a pair of gold leaf earrings, brown boots, and some light makeup, accentuating her beauty.
Hug Against Prejudice
Among the many humanitarian organizations and causes that Lady Diana Spencer had supported was the Great Ormond Street Hospital for children in London. It was founded all the way back in 1962 while Lady D served as the president of the institute from 1989 until her death. This photo was taken on April 22, 1991, in São Paulo, Brazil. Diana was visiting to help raise awareness and also to change the viewpoint of the world towards people affected by the human immunodeficiency virus. That year, she warmly hugged infected patients on multiple occasions - which helped remove the stigma about the condition being highly communicable.
An Over-The-Top Fashion Statement
There are several events that require the Royal family to include a hat as part of their ensemble. The ladies, in particular, use these opportunities to express their style by showing off their personality through the head-piece aka fascinator. Sometimes, it takes one to spot one, and Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie seem to have realized way too late that they might have gone a little bit over the top. The two were spotted with their unique fascinators when attending Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal wedding in 2011. Understandably, the sisters ended up on several worst-dressed lists.
We Will Not Forget This Picture
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, is the firstborn son of the heir to the British Throne, Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana Spencer, the late and beloved Lady D. William’s younger brother is Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. Both of them are known to excel at performing their royal duties, especially humanitarian work and Army service. This photo was taken during their visit to Lesotho, in 2010, and with them is Prince Seeiso Bereng Seeiso of Lesotho. In 2006, Harry and Prince Seeiso founded Sentebale, a charitable organization aimed at helping young people and children, and in battling HIV. Sentebale means “forget me not." During their visit, the three Princes danced Lesotho’s traditional dances and made a lot of funny photos.
Not A Prince To The Animals
Normally, when people meet Prince Harry, they are always on their best behavior, but as for animals, they couldn't care less about his Royal roots. Perhaps it would have been wise for someone to give him a heads-up that porcupines are quite the spiky creatures during his 2003 visit to Australia. In the above photo, he got more than what he bargained for when a porcupine decided to defend itself when he held one. The look on his face makes you wonder what happened next! But his 2018 visit to the Sydney Taronga zoo seemed less dramatic when he embraced two koalas and their joeys.
The Royal Photobomber
Sometimes, even if you are Royalty, it doesn't mean that the attention will be on you at all times. Well, the above picture shows Prince Harry during the Commonwealth Games in 2014 where he photobombed these unsuspecting New Zealand officials. The men were actually minding their own business and just taking a selfie in memory of the day, and Prince Harry was more than happy to appear in the background. It turns out that Prince Harry actually enjoys these kinds of surprise appearances in other people's photos. We bet he can always spot the moment the camera is going off wherever he goes to strike a pose.
The Never-Before-Seen Royal Wedding Photo
After their glamorous Royal matrimony in May 2018, at the close of the year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally shared their very first Christmas card. Earlier in 2019, they unveiled the portrait on Social Media showing the newlyweds at their evening matrimonial reception watching the fireworks. The couple is seen here admiring the fireworks with arms around each other as Meghan shows off the back of her beautiful wedding dress. The two were engaged in December 2017, and they sent the world into a frenzy following their every move; the euphoria continues in anticipation of their first child.
Forever In Our Hearts
This is another photo from Princess Diana and her sons' famous visit to Thorpe Park in 1993, four years prior to Diana’s death. At this point, Diana had already been a symbol of beauty, love towards children, and a patron to many in need. However, she was also a target of media scrutiny during the final years of her marriage to Prince Charles. They divorced on August 28, 1996. A year later, on August 31, 1997, Diana Spencer died in a fatal car crash in Paris. She was only 36 years old.
Prince Harry Can Bust A Move
Prince Harry is always easy to get along with and puts up a good show. As it’s expected of him to participate in all manner of shenanigans, clearly in this picture, he didn’t disappoint at all. It’s common knowledge that he's a great sport, knows how to enjoy himself, and seems fully up to the task to outshine his big brother William. Even Prince Seeiso of Lesotho must have been thrilled by Harry’s dance moves. Unlike William who’s a bit reserved, leave it to jolly Harry to show off his smooth dance moves when the time calls for it. His legacy as a happy Prince will definitely stay with him.
Technology Hits The Royals
The Queen turned 93 in April 2019, and we can only picture how she is around the latest technologies. It probably does help that she has a stern-looking face that always makes it seem like she’s knowledgeable about everything. In the photo above, the Queen and Prince Philip had to wear these boxy-looking safety glasses to witness a laser surgery demonstration. It was in 2005 during the London-based University College Hospital opening. It’s a bit hilarious to look at their vastly differing expressions, and while Philip looks utterly impressed, the Queen doesn’t seem to share the same sentiment.
Get Ready To Rumble
Prince Harry is like that one happy uncle who is always ready to mingle with children and his presence lightens up the mood. In many occasions, we have seen Harry having fun with children and he just can’t resist making faces as a way of engaging them. Well, not all children have been receptive of his friendliness perhaps because they have no clue who he is or they are simply not aware of what’s going on. For instance, the toddler seems perplexed and he can't figure out that the Prince is up to. Fortunately, Harry accommodates all sorts of moods from the kids whether grumpiness from anxiety or playfulness.
Fake It For The Cameras
Being a Royal family member means following protocol whether it's a good day or not. You must wave and smile courteously at the masses, shake hands with almost everyone, and attend all sorts of events that require your attention. In this photo, Prince William and wife Kate are seen waving to the crowd upwards. Their faces must have been this way almost throughout the day waving and saying hello to the paparazzi crammed up all around them. It does help that they seem to be born for Royalty and at least it comes with perks like never having to work in the conventional sense and having many luxuries.
The Ever Jovial Kate
Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is seen bursting out in laughter with a brush in her hand at the 2018 Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit, while her husband, Prince William is joining her. Something really hilarious must have been mentioned to make Kate laugh this hard. The event aims at improving mental health worldwide. The duo had been invited to contribute to artist Dairo Vargas' painting. The couple looked fabulous as always, with Kate’s ever-chic style and William’s fancy suit with a purple tie that complemented Kate’s purple dress. This was Kate’s second official activity following her maternity leave after welcoming Prince Louis.
Not One To Gossip
This photo right here shows the perfect moment where you’re out with your sibling and happen to see something funny and can’t help but share the laughter. The problem is you don’t want to appear like you’re gossiping but again you can’t really contain yourself so you start making faces while your sibling is lost in his own world. Prince William is clearly that sibling who can’t hide his expression. He definitely hasn’t mastered the skill of being discreet and not make a nasty look or comment so obvious. Perhaps some acting classes would come in handy for William...
Weddings Aren't For Everyone
There’s a sense of dullness in this picture, perhaps because Prince William and Kate know firsthand how ceremonies can tend to drag. Even the young George’ expression screams "help!" but he has to bear with it since it’s his uncle’s nuptials. Kate too looks a bit tired and maybe wishing to head back home to take care of her youngest, Louis. But Prince William is seen here trying to tell her something important, so it seems. Nevertheless, The Duchess of Cambridge looked great in her cream dress coat accentuated by elegant accessories, including her Philip Treacy hat.
Spot The Royal Family Member Who's Missing In The Photo
This is a candid picture of almost all of the Royal family taken in November 2018, a day before Prince Charles' 70th birthday. We know the Queen loves her grandkids dearly, decorating her audience room with their pictures so this one will most certainly have a rightful spot in her palace. The Queen, however, seems to be missing in the portrait and we wonder what could have happened for her to miss such an important moment. We pray for her well-being, or perhaps she just wanted to show the world the new faces of the monarchy.
The Duchess of Sussex Celebrates Her First Royal Thanksgiving
Meghan Markle had her first Thanksgiving as a Royal on November 22, 2018. It had been a year since she had one with her mother Doria Ragland in Los Angeles. The Duchess of Sussex is passionate about cooking and has launched her first project Together: Our Community Cookbook so we can be sure that she was at her best and prepared a nutritious diet. The former Suits star will often be celebrating the traditional US holiday with the Royal family since now she’s one of them and is welcoming another in 2019. Being next door to Prince William, they must have invited him and Kate since it’s a family celebration.
